BC Update: No.34 - Change of closing date: Consultation on Compliance Document C/AS1

8 Dec 2005: The Department of Building and Housing advises of a change of closing date for submissions on proposed amendments to the Compliance Document C/AS1 for the Fire Safety Clauses of the New Zealand Building Code.

 This consultation is concurrent with the public comment sought by Standards New Zealand. We previously advised that the closing date for submissions was 16 December 2005. Standards New Zealand has now extended its period of public comment to 8 January 2006. Accordingly, the closing date for submissions on the amendment to the Compliance Document C/AS1 has also been extended to 8 January 2006.

We invite all interested parties to review the consultation document and to make submissions.
