Glazing

The glass panes installed in, for example, the sash of a window or door. The Building Code clauses relating to glazing include B1 Structure, B2 Durability, G7 Natural Light and F2 Hazardous Building Materials. Grade 500E steel 

A grade of steel reinforcing. Concerns were raised in 2003 that Grade 500E steel might not be fit for its purpose as reinforcing steel when subject to design earthquake loading in ductile reinforced concrete structures. The Department of Building and Housing (now part of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment) responded by investigating the concerns and issuing a Report on grade 500E steel reinforcement, along with a Practice Advisory Notice. Green building 

The practice of increasing the efficiency with which buildings and their sites use and harvest energy, water, and materials, to reduce building impacts on human health and the environment. This includes aspects of siting, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and removal.
