M-11 Position descriptions

M-11 Position descriptions refers to regulation 15(2). Position descriptions are one tool to help demonstrate compliance with regulation 15(2) and must be read in conjunction with regulations 5 and 6.

Purpose

To outline roles, responsibilities and authorities in relation to the management of (organisation’s name’s) operations and quality assurance system. Recording roles, responsibilities, reporting lines and accountabilities supports good building control decisions and ensures employees and contractors are supported to operate within their range of competencies. Such descriptions are essential administrative tools.
